Sunday In Person HSPT Classes are for those in the D.C. Area. All Classes meet at Mater Dei School in the 8A homeroom of the Upper School; 9600 Seven Locks Rd.; Bethesda, MD 20817. The Sunday HSPT course begins the first Sunday in October. We then are off for the Columbus Day Weekend. The course then runs for six Sundays in a row, wrapping up before the Thanksgiving break. Each Sunday we tackle one of the five major aspects of the HSPT (Verbal, Quantitative, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics, and Language) with two Sundays reserved for review and reinforcement. The course wraps up before the Thanksgiving break, but from the students have access to a wealth of online resources as part of the course: recorded lessons, online quizzes, and practice tests throughout and beyond the duration of the course.

The Mater Dei Weekday HSPT Course begins on the first Monday of winter sports. It meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for seven total classes.

Digital access continues into the new year.

This is an online course with a traditional approach. We use a textbook and flashcards that need to be mailed to students in advance. The course releases digitally on July 1st. We will have three Zoom session a week, and we will cover every major aspect of the SSAT test. Students will be ready to take the SSAT test on or after August 1st.
