🗓️ Seven Sunday Sessions (Fall 2026)

The course includes seven in-person classes, each lasting 75 minutes.

🕰️ Five Flexible Time Slots

Students register for one of the following class times:

  • 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM
  • 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM

  • 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM

  • 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM

⏳ If a conflict arises, students may switch to a different session that weekend (as space allows). Please email my by Wednesday of that week.

Every section of the HSPT is covered:

📗 Barron’s HSPT Prep Book Required

Students should purchase the Barron’s HSPT Prep Book prior to the first class.
The book is used primarily for homework assignments, while in-class lessons use additional curated materials.

All students receive full access to the online HSPT learning platform, including:

  • At least three full online practice tests to practice and support the learning
  • Online quizzes and practice drills

  • Extra “deep dive” instructional content

Since students typically take the HSPT only once, this course is designed to ensure they arrive on test day fully prepared and confident.

Sunday In Person HSPT Classes are for those in the D.C. Area. All Classes meet at Mater Dei School in the 8A homeroom of the Upper School; 9600 Seven Locks Rd.; Bethesda, MD 20817. The Sunday HSPT course begins the first Sunday in October. We then are off for the Columbus Day Weekend. The course then runs for six Sundays in a row, wrapping up before the Thanksgiving break. Each Sunday we tackle one of the five major aspects of the HSPT (Verbal, Quantitative, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics, and Language) with two Sundays reserved for review and reinforcement. The course wraps up before the Thanksgiving break, but the students have access to a wealth of online resources: recorded lessons, online quizzes, and practice tests throughout and beyond the duration of the course.
